Ja and ui. Yes.



Belgians speak mainly Dutch (including Flemish in the Flemish region), German and French but there are lots of Belgians that can speak English. However, you should carry a phrasebook just incase.

You can speak english anywhere. Who's gonna stop you?. Unless of course you become unable to talk. I speak english everywhere I go, people don't allways understand but we must show that we are the dominating nation in the world.

Sure.. no trouble for me up to now.. I'm livin at Gent..

but you wont understand the signs and everything.. they are not in English.. but you'll get used to it..
